Cailyn Cashon

Cailyn Cashon, KDGN Producer; Yearbook Editor in Chief

Cailyn Cashon is a 17-year-old senior at Carroll Senior High School. She is going into her fourth year in Dragon Media and is one of the Editor in Chiefs of the Dragon Yearbook. She is also a returning member of the KDGN broadcast team. In her four years in Dragon Media, she has won a total of five ILPC Star Awards, and, for the past three years, Cailyn has worked with the yearbook staff to create publications that have been recognized as NSPA All-American. She plans to use what she has learned in Dragon Media and attend Texas A&M University to double major in Journalism and Education. When she isn’t in room 115 or on the sidelines, Cailyn is probably editing her photos or at her job. Ever since she walked into her first journalism class six years ago, she has been passionate about it.
