Football
The Dragon football team celebrated a Homecoming win against district opponent Keller Timber Creek 44-7. Junior wide receiver Brock Boyd led the Dragons with 213 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. The Dragons are now 5-0 overall and 3-0 in district play. The Dragons will play district rival 3-2 Keller at Keller ISD Stadium on October 4 at 7 p.m.

Volleyball
The Lady Dragon Volleyball team continued district play against Keller Central. The Lady Dragons lost in 5 sets to the Chargers moving their overall record to 19-9 and are currently ranked fifth in district play. Junior Layla Austin led the team with 12 kills. Following a bye this past Friday, the Lady Dragons will be back in action for round two of district play against first-place Byron Nelson on Tuesday.

Cross Country
This week Carroll runners competed in the Nike South meet in Houston . The elite boys 5000 meter race was led by Carroll sophomore Jaxon Glenn with a time of 15:57.30. Carroll won the race with 119 points scored overall. The team is preparing for the 4-6A district meet on October 10 at Bob Jones Park in Southlake.

Water Polo
Boys Water Polo faced off in two games last week against South Grand Prarie on Sept 24 winning 18-3 and Highland Park on Sept 27 winning 19-8. Water Polo is currently 1st in district and 16th in the nation with a record of 4-0. The nationally ranked girls water polo team is 1st in district with a record of 3-0 beating Sachase on Sept 24 18-10 and Highland Park on Sept 27 13-9.
