Volleyball
The Lady Dragon varsity volleyball team continues their season with an overall record of 18-7 and a district record of 4-2. The Lady Dragons lost 3-1 to Keller on Sept. 10 but pulled out a 3-1 win over V.R. Eaton on Sept. 13.
“Our season is going great,” senior Addisyn Kennedy said. “We are so excited for playoffs, and can’t wait to compete.” Looking ahead, the Lady Dragons will face off against Keller Central on Sept. 24 at 5:30 p.m.
Football
On Sept. 10 the Dragon varsity football team won against district rival Byron Nelson with a score of 33-21. The Dragons are currently 3-0 overall and picked up their first district win last week advancing their district record to 1-0. Looking ahead, the Dragons play district opponent Trinity on September 20.
Tennis
The varsity tennis team achieved two wins last week, going 19-0 against Keller on September 10, and 14-5 against Plano West on Sept. 13. These two wins move their overall record to 11-1. Going into next week, varsity tennis will play against Eaton on September 17 and El Paso Franklin on Sept. 20.
Water Polo
The varsity boys’ water polo team played in two games on September 14. The Dragons faced Dallas Jesuit, winning with a score of 15-6. The Dragons also faced off against Guyer winning with a score of 20-5. The Dragons are on a six-game winning streak, making their overall record 18-3 and 2-0 in district play. Tennis will take on Highland Park on September 21.
