With a third of the year completed, senior Dragons have plenty on their calendars. As the countdown to graduation continues, make sure to stay up to date on the many important upcoming events.
April
To take part in the hallmark events that define senior year, comes the sign-up deadline responsibilities. Make sure to have prom guest forms done if needed by April 27, purchase your picnic tickets by April 24 and get your tickets for the big dance in Skyward by May 8. Registration for senior walks and powderpuff are also essential if planning to participate.
Other responsibilities include the panoramic picture taken on campus April 16, and Dragon Decision Day on April 30. This includes signing your name on the college banner in the SAC, and wearing a shirt to represent your chosen school.
Fortunately, April isn’t only made up of deadlines. The Senior Art Show opens on April 29, where senior students in the art program showcase their portfolio from kindergarten through their final year of high school. Admission is free, and it goes from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Art Center Gallery. Artwork will remain showcased until May 8.
The Senior Talent Show is set for April 30, and will start at 6 p.m.. Tickets are listed at $5 for students, and $10 for adults. Refer to the class council Instagram for links and information.
May
To kick off the official end of the year, the annual senior picnic is from 9-1:30 on the first of the month. It takes place at Circle R Ranch in Flower Mound, and consists of food, bouncy houses, games, ice cream trucks and the annual powderpuff game. Tickets are on sale in the Skyward fees section.

Dragons planning to participate in senior walks need to sign up to reserve their spot on the bus to their elementary school where they will walk the halls in their cap and gown on May 13. Official checkout for seniors will take place May 14-15. Yearbooks are set to be handed out this week as well, with an official date and time yet to be determined. Follow @slcdragonmedia for official announcements on yearbook distribution.

The DJ will have a set track for the night, but song requests are encouraged and can be submitted to the class council linktree. Aside from dancing, the venue also includes a free casino with prizes available.
The annual Baccalaureate service will be held at White’s Chapel Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m. on May 20. This is an interfaith service that honors all CSHS seniors and their families with messages from different church leaders and students, music and common prayer.
And finally, graduation practice will begin at 9 a.m. on May 22, and the official ceremony is set for 7 p.m..
