CSHS chooses Green Jackets

The Green Jacket class of 2025 was recently announced by sponsor Mrs. Carrie Sanders. These 20 rising seniors will serve as leaders and ambassadors of Carroll ISD during the upcoming year.

Green Jackets are chosen from the junior class at the end of each school year and represent the district as ambassadors at various events during the next school year, both on campus and within the community. The group of students oftentimes is the first impression given to guests who attend events throughout the year.

The students are first nominated by teachers and then after submitting an essay, the selection committee meets to review and select applicants. According to Sanders, the judging panel is “looking for those students who exemplify honor, integrity, along with outstanding respect and character in all situations.”
