Dragon nation celebrated homecoming in Town Square with the annual parade and carnival organized by CSHS Student Council. Local band Redwall performed in the gazebo with a special guest appearance by principal Ryan Wilson as community members enjoyed games, food and socializing with Carroll student groups and teams. Following a pep rally with performances by Emerald Belle officers, cheer and Dragon Band, the queen and king, seniors Millie Ord and Bridger Jense, were crowned atop Town Hall. Suhavi is a freshman at Carroll High School, and this is her first year working with Dragon Media. Suhavi has also worked with Southlake Style in the past. Outside of school, Suhavi loves to read and listen to music. She wants to pursue a career in journalism and wants to be an author.
Arden is a senior at Carroll Senior High School and is currently a co-editor in chief of the Dragon Tribune. This is her fourth year as a member of Dragon Media as well as her eighth year in choir. Sophomore year, she was on the UIL Journalism team and progressed to state in copy editing. Outside of school, she practices piano, plays video games and writes. She hopes to pursue a career in research related to the social sciences.
Morgan Brown is a senior at Carroll Senior High School and this is her fourth year in Dragon Media. She is the editor-in-chief for the 2023-24 yearbook, as well as a member of the new sports media class. When she isn’t out photographing events, she can be found spending time with friends, attending concerts, going on drives, or hanging out in the yearbook room. After graduation, she hopes to attend either the University of Texas or Arizona State.
