How to Halloween in 2020
Every year on October 31, most of us celebrate Halloween, but what is our beloved holiday going to look like this year? This year, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that we not celebrate with others. Although, if we must do so, they recommend to maintain distance and to wear a mask at all times. Here are some tips for this Halloween if you are hanging out with friends:
- Try to go with an outdoor gathering to promote better ventilation
- Gatherings that last longer pose more risk than shorter gatherings
- Stay 6 feet apart at all times
- Limit the number of attendees as much as possible
- Use hand sanitizer
If you want to enjoy Halloween by yourself at home, here are some ideas:
- Personalize some pumpkins
- Bake some goodies
- Turn your home into a haunted house
- Make your own costumes
- Have a scary movie marathon
- Prepare a Halloween dinner
- Host a virtual party
- Play Halloween games
- Go “ghosting”
- Paint your faces
- Or just spend some quality time with your family
We hope you have an amazing, safe and spooktacular Halloween!
