Students give Carroll a movie makeover
October 17, 2016
We’ve all watched the cheesy high school movies like “The Breakfast Club,” “Grease,” “Mean Girls” and “Clueless” that we thought were completely true when we were younger. Now that some of us have survived a couple years of high school, some students have given us examples of what movie they think Carroll would be set in.
“If our school was a movie, I think it would be ‘Finding Nemo’ because everyone is searching for a college. I would be Dory because I’m confused, lost and have no idea what is going on.”
– Sydney Polansky (11)
“‘Clueless’ because the people at our school can be ditzy at times just like the characters in clueless.”
– Patrick Metelski (11)
“It would be ‘High School Musical’ because there’s a lot of drama that happens. I would be Gabriella because I’m kind and I like to have a good time.”
– Rachel Gitter (11)
“‘The Hunger Games’ because everyone is competing in various areas. I would be Rue because she didn’t stand a chance against everyone.”
– Jessica Freden (11)
“It would be ‘The Breakfast Club’ because everyone’s in different groups but we all end up getting along.”
– Kael Madar (12)
“I think it would be ‘Napoleon Dynamite.’ I would be Padro because I’m well liked and I represent the student population well.”
– Cade Lopez (12)
