Dragon fall sports have been in action on the field, on the course, on the court and in the pool. On Sept. 30, the Lady Dragons varsity volleyball team lost to the undefeated Bryon Nelson Bobcats 3 sets to 1. On that same day, the boys’ varsity water polo team beat Highland Park 17-7. On Oct. 2, the boys’ freshman football team defeated Keller 28-14, and the following day, the boys’ varsity football team routed Keller 63-28 on homecoming. Another important note is that they debuted their brand-new black playoff jerseys, sponsored by the Patrick Mahomes Gladiator brand. The varsity girls’ golf team saw action the next week, playing at the Texan Fall Classic at Champions Circle in Fort Worth. The boys and girls cross-country teams competed at the 4-6A District meet at Bob Jones Park, advancing to the Region Meet.
