News Brief: The Carroll Senior High School Student Council will be hosting the second annual Carry Forward, Feed It Forward 5K on Saturday, Nov. 8 at Dragon Stadium. All proceeds from the race will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. Registration and check-in begin at 7:15 a.m.
Organizations like the Wounded Warrior Project aim to alleviate the transition into everyday life for members of active service members as well as provide resources and support for veterans and their families. CISD 9-12 grade students may receive five School Links community service hours for registering and participating in the race. Registering by clicking “join our squad” for the CSHS Carry Forward 5K.
