1. Visit a Pumpkin Patch

This fall, a wave of new horror movies will be hitting our local theatre. Beginning with “Blair Witch” that came out Sept. 16, just before the commencement of fall, and finishing with “Ouiji: Origin of Evil” which will premiere on Oct. 26, there’s an ongoing list of flicks to check out. 13. Autumn at the Arboretum

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens are one of the most underrated facets of fall fun in DFW. Combining pumpkin patches and millions of the most beautiful flowers in the nation, it’s an experience of it’s own. Best of all, it’s open until Nov. 23.

14. Sink a Fork into a Season Pie
